How A Desperate Need For Visibility Became A Search Architecture Agency
What began as an attempt to help my husband grow his business eventually became a completely different journey - one that would change the direction of my career and ultimately lead to the creation of Jet Leads.
Sharleen Ndlovu - Founder
I didn't start Jet Leads because I wanted to launch an SEO agency. I started it because my family needed visibility to work.
01
When Visibility Wasn't Optional
The circumstances that started everything.
Several years ago, my husband was building his business and trying to establish a presence online. Like many business owners, he had the expertise, the experience and the ability to help people.
The problem was that very few people knew he existed.
At the time, we had already spent money with agencies and explored the traditional paths available to us. We had trusted the process. We had invested in visibility.
But eventually we reached a point where continuing to buy visibility simply wasn't a realistic option. Organic search had to work. Not as a marketing experiment. As a necessity.
I had already built a career across multiple industries and leadership positions.
- An artist.
- A theatre practitioner.A theatre practitioner.
- A director.
- A finance and governance executive.
The thought of having to rebuild another career from scratch — because we couldn't solve a visibility problem — wasn't something I was willing to accept.
So I decided to figure it out myself.
02
The Discovery
What I found when I stopped looking for tactics and started looking for root causes.
I approached search the same way I approached governance, finance and systems. I started looking for root causes.
What surprised me was that most visibility advice focused on tactics. Keywords. Content. Backlinks. Algorithms. But very few people were asking a more important question.
Can search engines actually understand the business?
The deeper I looked, the more I realised many visibility problems weren't SEO problems at all.
- They were structural problems: Services were disconnected. Information was fragmented.
- Businesses knew exactly what they did: Search systems didn't.
- The gap wasn't expertise: The gap was clarity..
That discovery changed everything.
It became an obsession.
03
Structure Changed The Outcome
What happened when visibility was approached differently.
Once I started focusing on structure, visibility improved.
Not because we published more content. Not because we chased algorithms. Because understanding improved. Search could finally make sense of the business.
That insight became an obsession. And eventually, it became a methodology.
As I worked with more businesses, I kept seeing the same pattern. Engineering companies. Manufacturers. Property businesses. Professional services firms. Different industries. The same problem. Businesses were trying to scale visibility on foundations that search systems struggled to understand.
Jet Leads was built to solve that problem.
Today, we help businesses transition from traditional SEO structures to modern search architecture through the 3S Search System™ — the framework that emerged from years of working through exactly this challenge.

Why I Still Love This Work
The reason this is more than just a business.
Because I've lived the problem.
I know what it feels like to invest in something you believe in and struggle to gain visibility. I know what it feels like to need a result — not another marketing theory.
And I know how transformative it can be when search finally understands the value you've always known existed.
The businesses I work with deserve to be found. That's not a marketing objective. It's a belief.
That belief — that the right businesses deserve visibility — is what drives every engagement at Jet Leads. And it's why I'm still as focused on getting the foundations right today as I was when I started.
