When we first met one of the students we support in Africa, they were a young child with dreams, potential and determination. Like many children growing up in under-resourced communities, access to education was one of the biggest barriers standing between them and their future.

As a first-generation migrant and founder, I understand the impact that access, support and opportunity can have on a person's future. I've lived the difference that the right door — opened at the right time — can make.
